SKULL - ES FUI SUM ERIS
Skulls, in heraldry, represent mortality, a reminder that we all come to the same end no matter the path we take to arrive there. They are meant to give the bearer a reason to live their lives to the best of their abilities each and every day, as if it is their very last. Handcrafted from the impression of a British antique wax seal from the late 18th century. The seal features the Latin saying 'Es fui sum eris' or 'As you are, So once was I; As I am, So you will be.'
